this biennial 5 day event
3. LE TOUR DE LANGKAWI
Cast into epic battles
from the start, another world-class peloton is expected for the 19th edition of
Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) will be kept on their toes from start to finish. Set
to cover a total distance of 1,506.5km over 10 stages, the UCI 2.HC (hors
category) race featuring again as one of the biggest events on the UCI Asia
Tour calendar, will also bring viewers through a myriad of breathtaking
sceneries on offer in Peninsula Malaysia.
4. FESTIVAL KRAF LANGKAWI
Various
activities are held each year campaign to attract visitors come to Langkawi
Craft Complex and buy handicrafts made in Malaysia. In addition, it can nurture
and cultivate the attitude of loving art craft heritage of Malaysia.
5. NAMINARA KOREA @ NATURALLY LANGKAWI
Smart
partnership programme between two islands to promote tourism through culture
exchange. This is 2nd edition of the programme consist cultures, arts, foods,
and tourism.
6. LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL REGATTA PERDANA
Sailors
will compete in challenging categories which include Optimist, Lager Full Rig,
Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, Int 420 & Wind Surfing, Byte and Big Techno.
7. LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL LAKSA CARNIVAL (LILAC)
Sample
the traditional rice-noodle delicacy, savoring the distinctive flavors typical
for various regions of Malaysia. Spiced-up with secret ingredients, no dish
tastes as the other. Get great recipes from local and international Laksa
Masters, join a Video & Photo Laksa contest, or have fun when participating
in the Laksa Eating Competition. There are also Chefs from Vietnam, Philippine,
Indonesia, Thailand and Korea to serve their delicious foods.
